Airport lounge access: which cards still give free visits

Lounge quotas have been cut across the market. Here is what is still genuinely free, and the spend conditions hidden behind it.

Free lounge access used to be the easiest reason to hold a mid-tier card. That has changed: most issuers now attach a quarterly spend condition, and the quota resets in ways that are easy to miss.

Read your card's quota as "visits per quarter, if you spent enough last quarter" rather than "visits per year". Premium cards still offer unlimited domestic visits, and a few travel cards keep a fixed annual count with no spend condition.
